Over the last 20 years I have been mentored by award winning producers from Nashville all the way back to Springfield Ohio. This has allowed me to go on to win a variety of my own awards in production like a Telly Award, a National Economic Development Award, the NAACP’s President’s Award, and most recently a Spotlight Award from Junior Achievement. I don’t share this to brag about my accomplishments. Rather, I write this to say that I know the role that my mentors have played in my career, and therefore have a strong desire to teach what I have learned to the next generation.
